OEM pencils represent Cal Cedar's largest market segment and are available in a variety of shapes to our pencil-manufacturing customers as raw or semi-finished pencils in any of our four quality levels. Most customers add further value to our OEM pencils in their own manufacturing facilities through one or more finishing and packing processes. Some rely on Cal Cedar to provide the majority of the finishing as painted tipped blanks, which are generally used to serve their advertising specialty customer base. Cal Cedar offers OEM pencils in four quality levels, each designed to meet a different target consumer: Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze.
