		Pencil Products Cal Cedar produces a growing range of pencils for our OEM and Private Label customers in our Propen facility in Laem Chabang, Thailand. Additionally, Cal Cedar supplements our own manufacturing with pencil supplies from a select group of industry partners in Asia and Latin America. All Cal Cedar pencils are produced to one of four different quality levels and can be supplied in a broad range from semi-finished raw or painted blanks to fully finished and packaged products according to our customers' specifications. OEM Pencils Private Label Pencils California Republic Stationers ForestChoice The Pencil Pages Cal Cedar produces pencils in four quality levels, each designed to meet a different target consumer: Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze. Platinum quality pencils utilize our highest quality Incense-cedar slats and additional components of superior quality, finished to the exacting standards expected of the most premium quality writing and artist pencils. Gold quality pencils also utilize our Incense-cedar slats with high quality components to assure a high quality finished product. Silver quality pencils utilize our Ecoslat® brand slats with similar component and finishing characteristics to our Gold quality pencils thus providing a similar finished product look with only slightly reduced sharpening performance for a more economic price point. Bronze quality pencils use Chinese Basswood or alternate wood species lacking our treatment process. The pencils satisfy basic functional writing performance needs while offering our most competitive price points. Bronze quality pencils are produced by one or more of our industry partners and not at Cal Cedar facilities. Contact Us Go Back
