Shastina™ & Frontier™ Grades

To meet the needs of more price sensitive markets, CalCedar also produces two additional grades of siding and decking. Shastina™ offers a mid-range WWPA 3 & Btr Common while Frontier™ grade blends a low-line 3 Common with a high-line 4 common.

Pencil Stock, Factory & Industrial Use Products

A major product for the Lumber Products Division is Incense-cedar pencil stock utilized by CalCedar's pencil slat production facilities. The Lumber Products provides a continuing supply of quality pencil stock to our slat operations, which assures the pencil industry of a consistent, stable supply of Incense-cedar slats for their needs.

In addition to Pencil Stock, this division also produces items for other industrial customers such as furniture and pallet manufacturers. Available species include: Incense-cedar.

ForestChoice™ Certified Incense-Cedar Products

Cal Cedar is committed to offering wood products sourced from forests managed under comprehensive environmental and social standards developed by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). This voluntary program includes routine third party audits to insure compliance with FSC management practices.
