Pencil manufacturers throughout the world rely upon Cal Cedar to supply a growing range of products used in the production of the world's most important pencil brands. In response to an increasingly competitive global market, Cal Cedar relocated its slat production from California to a new facility in China where we continue to produce Incense-cedar slats and have introduced a new line of more economically priced slats.
As we look to further meet the needs of our customers, we have increased our capabilities through expansion into pencil manufacturing. By the acquisition of a new factory in Thailand and establishing strategic supply partnerships throughout Asia, we now have the ability to supply our customers with products at any stage of manufacture. From slats and components, to raw blanks, to fully finished and packaged pencil inventories, we can help our customers free up resources, improve efficiency in the industry supply chain and adapt to changing markets.
